Report about the damage caused to South Ossetia may be ready already by the winter

According to Mikhail Khanikaev, Head of the Commission on the assessment of damage caused during the Georgian aggression, the full report about destroys and damage caused to the residents may be ready by the winter of 2008.

“We address letters to the organizations of our town so as they send their staff-members on mission to as for help”, underlined Mikhail Khanikaev, “we have to assess and give clear and reliable assessment to many buildings. Unfortunately, there are so many of them that it is very difficult for us to do the work”.

According to him the invited experts consider that this problem will exist for tow years at least. But the Administration of Tskhinval makes all efforts to assess the damage caused to the residents in short time.
