South-Ossetian sportsmen returned form the competitions with awards

Combined team from the Republic of South Ossetia returned from the competitions in the village Sukko of the Krasnodar Krai not with empty hands. The competitions were organized by the Sport League of peoples of the Southern Federal Okrug.

The first place in heavy athletics won Alexander Kasabiev, on free wrestling – Alan Pliev. The second place in free wrestling won Vladimir Djioev. The second and the third places in boxing in different weight categories won Soslan Tedeev and Atsamaz Dzigoev.

This information was provided by the Deputy Minister on Sport and Tourism Vladimir Tedeev. “In the competitions took part 19 subjects of the RF including the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Rostov oblasts, the Krasnodar Krai, North Ossetia-Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and many others”, he informed. “We were received wonderfully, with particular warmness. We are thankful not only to the organizers but to everyone who lives in our common house in the Caucasus”.
