Genocide towards Ossets lasts even today

Genocide towards Ossets lasts even today The correspondent of the South Ossetian part of JCC visited the hospital of Tskhinval where undergoes a treatment a resident of the village Dzartsemi of Tskhinval district. At present the village is under control of the Georgian police.
According to Zareta Kharebova, on April 23 she was cruelly beaten by her neighbor Madina Khetereli who had periodically robbed her.
Zareta Kharebova is 76 years old, she lives in the village alone. Her only son Sergei Gogidze was killed in 1989 by Georgian guerillas. Madina Khetereli sometimes helped her in keeping the house and Zareta Kharebova paid her for this. But the young lady periodically robbed her. After the next case the woman could not stand it any longer and asked to return back the stolen, then Khetereli shattered her shank. Genocide towards Ossets lasts even today“There was no one to help me, my leg swelled and ached. Two days later my relative finding me in such condition called policemen, but they did not react to the event. They came to me and said that I must make it up with Khetereli, but I refused. After that at 4 a.m. someone got into my house through the window. I woke up from the feeling of suffocation and heaviness, when I opened my eyes I understood that a fire-arm was put to my mouth. Then I don’t remember anything. I was very weak, probably I lost consciousness from fear. Regaining I screamed and shouted for help, but no one helped me”, tells Zareta Kharebova.
Now the resident of the village Dzartsemi is in extremely bad condition, she says that she does not want to return home as she is afraid for her life.
