Words are empty, there are only works of the Master

“Wonderful!” Even this word cannot express the whole beauty of the Master’s works. The old block of Tskhinval revives again, imposing mountains of Ossetia shimmer with new colors, and the streets of Moscow are like alive ones: a man unconsciously listens to, perhaps he will hear the noise of a big city…
Despite all the difficulties of the recent time – terrorist acts, shootings, human victims, Michael Kulumbegov during his 50-ies anniversary brought his works to his Native land. He considered that it would be right, that exactly in that way he would be able to support citizens of South Ossetia. His canvases are like balm for a soul, a man totally dissolves in them, forgets absolutely everything, the world around disappears. The whole energy of this wonderful man is expressed in his canvases. All words are empty and do not express the deepness of the emotions – one must see the pictures with his own eyes!
The painter brought to Tskhinval only a small part of his works. “Only that part which went into the car”, he said joking. But even this was enough to see in the pictures that special world in which lives and creates the Master.
Citizens and guests of Tskhinval who will visit the exhibition in these days will remain thankful to the son of Ossetia for his courage and piercing love for his Native land. Soon Michael Kulimbegov leaves for Paris where he will create again. Let us wish him success and good impressions from the town of love and beauty!

Together with the works of the famous Osset painter from Moscow, canvases of the talented sculpture on wood from Tskhinval Andrei Kasabiev were displayed on the exhibition. These are peaces of art of unusual beauty! Works of Andrei “Rojdenie arfy”, “Syrdon”, “Voznoshenie”, “Ispitie” forced to stop in front of them for a long time and carefully examine the smallest details. In all the exhibits breathed the lofty soul of the creator, it seemed, that while creating he had worked not with wood but thoughts, feelings and hopes.
I’d like to finish the story about the exhibition by one of the inscriptions engraved on the wooden cup by Andrei Kasaviev: «Дæ фыдæлтæ рухсаг, дæхæдæг мын бæзз!» (“Let your ancestors lie in peace, the main thing is that you yourself was a deserving man!”)
