The Government of South Ossetia assisted help to a woman banished form Georgia

The Government of South Ossetia assisted help to a woman banished form GeorgiaOn July 24 the Government of South Ossetia allocated finances to a heroine mother, resident of North Ossetia Zemfira Gabaraeva for curing her daughter Indira who had been banished from Georgia by her Georgian husband and his family because of her Osset nationality.

The help was assisted on the initiative of the Ministry for Special Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia where appealed Z. Gabaraeva.

The problems in the family began after coming to power in Georgia Mikhel Saakashvili and the anti-Osset campaign renewed in the Georgian Mass Media. The young woman became constantly reproached for her nationality by her husband and his brothers, they began to beat her, deprive of food. She bore the humiliations for the sake of her two children – 13 and 6-yeor-old, who felt keenly the tortures of their mother. At long last the woman was driven out and her children became orphans.

As a result of cruel treatment Indira fell ill, however doctors in Georgia refused to prescribe her medicaments motivating it by her national belonging. She is in need of serious medical assistance and operation on kidneys which suffered as a result of constant beatings.

The situation of Indira is redoubled by the fact that her husband tore her Birth certificate and all the documents identifying her personality and she cannot cross the Russian boundary without a passport to get to North Ossetia where her relatives live.

At present she is in the South-Ossetian republican somatic hospital where she undergoes treatment. By the way her mother Z. Gabaraeva came to Tskhinval from North Ossetia. Since they have no house in Tskhinval she is forced to live in a hotel for which she has no financial means.

On July 25 Zemfira Gabaraeva appealed to the Ministry for Special Affairs of the RSO and asked to pass gratitude words to the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia for the provided assistance.
